Cyncly’s Joerg Brauns re-elected to Canadian Kitchen Cabinet Association Board of Directors

Laval, QC, July 29, 2024 – Cyncly, the leading global provider of software and content solutions that help make amazing spaces for living, today announced that Joerg Brauns has been elected for a second three-year term to the Board of Directors at the Canadian Kitchen Cabinet Association (CKCA). Joerg provides the group with a unique perspective on the importance of the technology and innovation cabinetmakers need to stay competitive and meet fast-changing consumer expectations.
Founded in 1968, the CKCA is a national association that promotes the interests and conserves the rights of manufacturers of kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and related millwork, as well as suppliers and dealers, throughout Canada.
“During my first term on the CKCA Board, I was grateful for the opportunity to build relationships with members, learn about their challenges and priorities, and share our perspective on the role of technology in the industry’s future,” said Joerg. “Since joining CKCA, market forces and consumer preferences are creating an even stronger need for manufacturers to automate and offer greater integration. It will be rewarding to contribute to our members’ success through education about the ways technology can serve their future.”
Manufacturers across North America are facing two intersecting dynamics: fast-changing consumer preferences and persistent shortages of skilled labor.
With consumers’ growing appetite for customization and immersive design experiences, manufacturers now need to offer more options and ensure their products are attractive at the retail level. Cyncly’s solutions, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and visual Configure, Price, Quote (vCPQ) software, connect the full consumer journey and all the business processes that contribute to fulfilling customer orders, from design and sales to manufacturing.
At the same time, the shortage of skilled labor is driving greater automation in processes throughout the manufacturing sector. Manufacturers are investing in more advanced machines, robotic materials handling, and autonomous logistics. These machines and robots need to be orchestrated, raising the need for data integration across the full organization.
Earlier this year, Cyncly began offering 3CAD, its leading vCPQ solution, in North America to help manufacturers streamline the sales-to-production process in a single platform. The solution, already in more than 600 implementations across EMEA, helps manufacturers grow sales, reduce errors, and cut lead times for standard and custom products.
