With the start of 2024, and recently back from the Surfaces show – always one of the most engaging events of the year – I’m excited to be looking at the year ahead. Beginnings of the year are always a good time to revisit our vision for the flooring sector, and already this year Cyncly’s Flooring Solutions group has been busy engaging with customers, building new solutions and investing in innovation. 

It’s hard to remember a time in the flooring industry with more moving pieces. With the rise of digital marketing technologies, consumers’ interest in online retail, and new AI innovations, it can be a challenge for flooring retailers and commercial flooring contractors to stay ahead. The customers they serve are better informed, expect more, want to pay less and have more options than ever before. Plus, factors outside anyone’s control – an unstable economy, unreliable supply chain and labor shortage – introduce more challenges to navigate. 

At Cyncly, we’re organizing ourselves to help flooring retailers and commercial contractors succeed amid these challenges so they can acquire customers more efficiently, grow their business profitably and maintain their personal touch at every scale. Three things stand out as reasons to be excited in 2024: 

First, the exciting acquisition of Mobile Marketing in October 2023 enables Cyncly Flooring Solutions to offer full-service website creation and digital marketing technology and services. Mobile Marketing combines amazing technology with an outstanding team of industry experts to help our customers define your objectives, implement marketing with expertise, and measure its impact so you reach your goals faster. 

Second, we’re building on the flooring industry’s best ERP to help you run your business more effectively. Through our business management solutions, retailers and commercial contractors can configure their processes to match their business, manage vendor relationships effectively, and collect all data they need for successful project estimation and delivery. To this end, we’re working hard to bring RFMS Next to the market so our flooring retailers and distributor customers can access a cloud-based solution that offers great integrations, a user-friendly interface and access from any device, anywhere. 

Finally, we’re keeping our eye on the goal to help our customers scale without losing the personal touch that makes them unique. Integrating customer-engagement solutions with the industry’s best business management tools means retailers and commercial contractors have the ability to reach new customers, build closer relationships through fast and accurate service, and roll out best practices for profitability and scale. 

As much as 2024 is the year of innovation and integration, it’s also the year we’ll be growing closer to our customers under one brand. We’re looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new professionals at more than a dozen other industry events this year. 

In the meantime, we’ll be working fiercely to integrate the incredible capabilities of RFMS, Pacific Solutions and Mobile Marketing to deliver even more effective flooring solutions.
